My project that was going to take four days and dad wasn't going to know about until it was all done is finally done--well almost. I need to clean the carpet and get a black garbage can but that will come. Notice doors on all the cupboards.
The new refrigerator that Kimber and LeRoy got us. I love it and it was Kimber's idea for the black to complement the colors.
After my neighbor Willie Lish got involved it became a more professional job but took more time because it became his schedule we worked around. It is so totally worth it as you can see from the pictures. I must admit that under the sink was all my idea and my work. Dad cut the boards but I did the rest including stuffing insulation in every possible place I could under there to maybe keep the pipes from freezing.
Of course, this now makes the rest of my house really need a make over but maybe just a good cleaning will suffice.

Wow Mamma! It looks so nice! I love the countertops. And all of the drawers and cupboards work now?? That is awesome! It all looks so nice and neat and clean.
GREAT JOB! I can't wait to see it in real life.
It all looks so great. You, Dad and Willie have all put so much work into it.
If I absolutely had to choose my favorite part (which is really, really hard!) I would say under the kitchen sink. That place used to creep me out. Now it looks like a great hiding place for a 2 year old.
moms alive! and wow is that the same kitchen! im so excited to come see it. your hard work has paid off
Mamma...are you there?
Oh there you are Peter
YEAH!!!
You kitchen looks so AWESOME. That countertop...WOW!
I just have one question. How do you know where the cups are now that you can't see?;)
You've really done a great job upgrading your kitchen, Mom. Isn't that usually how projects go. Longer than planned. What I wonder is if we really knew how much time it was going to take would we still do it?
I wish I could say when the next time I'd see you and the new kitchen would be. But remember I love you no matter where we are and the blog is the best way to keep us connected especially when we share in pictures. Thanks for the update. Please keep them coming.
Your kitchen really does look awesome - especially in person. It was funny when you said "my kitchen was clean this morning" and it still looked pretty clean. Good job on all the hard work.
Holy Smokes! It looks AMAZING!!! Great Job and Perserverance... however you spell that word :)
